Common Pregnancy Concerns!

Congratulations! You're pregnant! Now Let’s get down to the business!

It’s the pride of the women that they are blessed with a womb to conceive a child and therefore the life of a woman is considered incomplete without carrying a child. Nonetheless some women can’t conceive owing to exceptional circumstances but there are obviously other ways to become pregnant too such as clinical insemination which is an artificial process wherein you place the sperm into woman’s cervix or uterus unlike as in natural sexual intercourse. However some women would still love to go for an adoption which is quite expensive and time consuming.

Building a Strong Bondage
There is a lot to gain if the women can be pregnant from the couple’s point of perspective in terms the intimacy and proximity they can develop in the initial stage itself and carry ahead with more values to life and marriage in due course. It adds more meaning to a life together when your partner is pregnant. It can even trigger a turning point in their marital life when they feel the love and concern they have for each other.

Make your Partner feel Better
It’s true that being pregnant can be hard and enduring for the woman and this condition entails then to be very conscious about their health in terms of wisely choosing the right diet and food items and having enough exercise and rest. Most importantly getting these things as and when required and to be taken. The partner must realize that the woman feels happy and satisfied and the husband has to walk an extra mile to do it for her. However there is no logic reason if the woman asks for strawberry shortcake at 3 am in the early morning. However one can find in a comfortable position if you know about some of the common pregnancy concerns in advance.

Common complications: Cramps
When a woman is pregnant, she is most likely to feel different complications and these are mostly regarded as common pregnancy concerns part of the whole process. These cramps do frequent in sync with the health condition of the women.

  1. First of its kind is that which occurs during the first trimester that a woman could feel pain while implantation takes place, usually after the ovulation period.
  2. Secondly, the cramps could be caused due to the expansion of uterus. It’s natural that the pregnant woman’s body adjusts itself for the baby by stretching and expansion of the uterus and subsequent cramps in the course of time.
  3. Another cramps that’s bit frustrating is the pain followed by bleeding and spotting as this could be due to a possible miscarriage.
  4. During the first trimester, the pregnant woman can also experience pain due to gas disturbance and constipation which leads to sort of discomfort.
  5. The cramps trouble could haunt you for some time on and you would also be suffering from cramps during the course of second and third trimester of the pregnancy.
  6. Finally these cramps can also return during pre-term labor and early labor.

Nausea and vomiting
The other common pregnancy concern I have been noticing among many of my clients is nausea and vomiting and there is no deal to worry about if you can realize why this happens. It’s just the result of physical and hormone level changes during early pregnancy. It’s been seen occurring in the sixth week of the pregnancy and can happen any time of the day. Nonetheless, most women experience them until twelfth week of their pregnancy period and vomiting can even be carried over to ninth month as well. It’s quite usual that nausea and vomiting during pregnancy affect the health of the women but the important thing to note is to avoid skipping meals though they do experience such feelings. The ultimate aim should never be forgotten that the child should be healthy and he should be getting the right nutrients at the right time.

Diet Bits
Although nausea and vomiting creates a lot of disturbance for the pregnant, one should not forget to give due importance to keep a good track of the woman’s diet and it’s very important to do. I can suggest a few hot tricks to avoid empty stomach if you are wondering what to do.

  1. Try a few crackers and rest for about 15 minutes just before you get out of the bed.
  2. Do try to have small meals at a regular interval to avoid empty stomach.
  3. To avoid the feel of nausea, do have pickles, bread, nuts, mushroom soup, pretzels and water melon etc.
  4. Do take ample rest, taking off from the work; it’s important to keep off from the stress and strain of the work.
  5. Do consult your OB Gynecologist for regular check ups
  6. Do the above and both husband and wife finds pregnancy fairly easy.

Enjoy your pregnancy and do feel free to drop me any concern you have and I would try my best to respond at the earliest!
